Some of the acts of burning the Koran were led by Momika, who is a refugee from Iraq and has stated that she wants to protest against all Islamic institutions and ban the holy book.
“Yesterday, the Migration Agency decided to withdraw his status and residence permit, and decided that he should be deported,” a spokesperson for the Swedish Migration Agency told Reuters.
The spokesperson explained that the reason for the deportation order was that Momika provided false information about her residence permit in her application.
However, a spokesperson for the Swedish Migration Agency said its authorities would not carry out the deportation order, as the man would face the risk of torture and inhumane treatment if he was returned to Iraq.
