Swedish Crown Princess attends Märtha Louise’s wedding

The Swedish royals are the most high-profile guests from abroad whose presence at the wedding of Märtha Louise and the self-proclaimed shaman Durek Verrett (49) has become known. The Norwegian royal family around King Harald V, Queen Sonja (both 87), Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit (51) had previously confirmed that they would be attending the wedding.

Märtha Louise, fourth in line to the Norwegian throne, is the daughter of Harald and Sonja. Haakon is her younger brother.

Trouble over exclusive rights

The wedding will take place this Saturday on the picturesque Geirangerfjord. The preparations have been accompanied by several controversies. Among other things, there is trouble because the British celebrity magazine “Hello!” has secured exclusive rights to the wedding ceremony and reception. The Norwegian royal family has expressed reservations about being photographed exclusively.

The streaming service Netflix announced that it is working on a documentary about the love story between Märtha Louise and Verrett. According to media reports, the company has also acquired the TV rights to the wedding.
