In October, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan submitted the protocol on Sweden’s admission to NATO to the Turkish Parliament for ratification.

“Some Hungarian parliamentarians claim that Sweden quite loudly condemns or has condemned the activities of the Hungarian parliament,” said Nowák, who is a close ally of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
