Thursday’s 1-0 victory at home against Georgia was followed by two new goals and a clean Swedish cage away. Thus, coach Janne Andersson’s star gallery leads group B with six out of six possible points. There are two more than Spain.

In Pristina, Drammen player Bersant Celina (24) and the home team went out tough, but goals by Ludwig Augustinsson (26) and Isak after 12 and 35 minutes respectively decided the match for Sweden.

67 minutes into the game, Zlatan Ibrahimovic (39) had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. Just seconds later, Sweden got a penalty kick. With the super Swede on the bench, Sebastian Larsson (35) got the honor of rolling in 3-0 from the 11-meter.

Tough duels

In the beginning, the match was far tougher than the result suggests. Only seconds had passed when Ibrahimovic planted an elbow in the neck of an opponent, before attacker Vedat Muriqi (26) put an ugly elbow in the forehead of midfielder Filip Helander (27). The latter had to leave the field for a period to bandage a bloody cut.

Three minutes later, Emil Forsberg (29) was tackled at knee height by Hekuran Kryeziu (28) and in overtime of the match, substitute Bernard Berisha (29) was sent off for two yellow cards a few minutes apart.

As time went on, Sweden also took more control of the game. Ibrahimovic heeled a ball to Augustinsson after 18 minutes, which allowed the left-back to put in 1-0 in an empty goal.

Isaac boom and scoring

Not long after, Isak got a great opportunity alone with Samir Ujkani (32), but the Swedish Real Sociedad striker missed a clear goal after rounding the Kosovo goalkeeper.

As the match clock in Pristina approached 35 minutes played, the 21-year-old made up for it. After first getting a shot blocked within 16 meters, Isak withdrew from a passer and narrowed the ball between Ujkani’s legs and into goal.

After the break, the Swedes dominated a lot and Larsson arranged a safe 3-0 victory. The question is whether Sweden has ever had a better men’s national team, especially offensively. This was the crew Andersson mustered from the start in Kosovo:

Kristoffer Nordfeldt – Mikael Lustig, Victor Lindelöf, Filip Helander, Ludwig Augustinsson – Viktor Claesson, Sebastian Larsson, Kristoffer Olsson, Emil Forsberg, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Alexander Isak.

Also on the bench was Juventus profile Dejan Kulusevski (20).
