President Vladimir Zelensky during a visit to Brussels for a summit, the EU requested Jas 39 Gripen combat aircraft from Sweden, but Stockholm refused. It is reported by the Swedish edition SVT.

According to Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, expanded support for weapons in the form of such combat aircraft is currently irrelevant.
“We have a very big need for aircraft that we have ourselves,” he said.
According to journalists, in addition to modern fighter jets, Zelensky also requested long-range missiles, ammunition and artillery.
