Sweden opposes giving EU-approved corona vaccine to people under the age of 30

The Swedish public health authority had initially approved the vaccine for people over the age of 18, the website writes Euractive.

The authority announced this week that it is revoking its decision because the vaccine increases the risk of inflammation of the heart muscle and inflammation of the pericardium. However, the risk is low.

The vaccine is not widely used in Sweden, where around 7,000 doses have been administered so far.
