Sweden intends to allocate 500 million euros (925.7 million manats) for the reconstruction of war-damaged Ukraine. SIA reports that the press secretary of the President of Ukraine Sergey Nikiforov said this on the live broadcast of “Rada” TV channel.

“In addition to military support, Sweden has adopted a strategy of about half a billion euros to restore Ukraine over several years,” he said.

According to Nikiforov, private business representatives can also donate.

He also said that Stockholm has promised to provide drinking water pumps to Kyiv for the areas affected by the destruction of the Kakhovka hydropower plant.
