It is to face the proliferation of wind projects one new anti-wind collective named « CPFP » has just been formed on the North of the department of Jura.
At the end of a meeting held on May 29 in Mont-sous-Vaudrey in the presence of Marie-Christine Chanez, president of the Regional Collective of Burgundy – Franche-Comté of experts and citizens for the environment and heritage, the “CRECEP”, and president of the association “les Doubs Amis de la Dame Blanche”, six associations and collectives of the fight against studies and projects for the establishment of industrial wind farms deemed anarchic, have decided to create the “CPFP” collective: Collective for the protection of the forest, the fauna and the heritage.
The associations involved are as follows: “Le Vent Tourne” by Byans-sur-Doubs , “The Friends of Sermange” and Gendrey, “AVAFA” of La Barre and Orchamps, ASFM of Mont-sous-Vaudrey, “APPEL” from Arbois as well as Vincent-Froideville’s “CABRE39” collective. They have defined an action radius of around 30 km around the Val d’Amour and the Salines d’Arc-et-Senans.
Better inform the population
The objective of the CPFP is to fight andinform the population “In the reflection for the refusal of unnecessary wind farms with regard to the nuisance on forests, wildlife and heritage, on the one hand, and being located in the heart of one of the least windy regions in France, on the other hand, hence wind turbine projects of 230 meters high ”, indicate the protesters. The collective also warns “on the damage and the risks of pollution that would cause again the excavations of the foundations followed by massive injections of concrete on our karstic soils, on our sources, at the level of the sources of Cuisance, for example, as well as on wetlands and “outcropping” water tables.
The participants promised to meet very regularly, to exchange information and to join forces for the actions to be carried out.
