This Friday, August 25, the “Swash” electronic dance music festival will take place on three different stages for 12 hours in the Andrejosta quarter. In total, 15 artists of this genre will gather there, including DJs from Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and other countries.
The “Swash” series of electronic dance music events is taking place in Latvia for the first time this year, traveling through various venues. The largest event of this series will take place in the Andrejosta quarter (AOK).
The “headliner” or main artist of the event will be Anja Schneider – techno and “house” visionary. As the founder of Mobilee Records, she is one of the pioneers of the electronic music industry, with legendary performances at Sonar, Tomorrowland and iconic venues such as Watergate Berlin and Fabric London, as well as at Boiler Room and The Lab” has become widely known in the circles of the relevant music genres. DJ tandem Animal Trainer, German DJ Biesmans and Ibiza resident Tapesh are also invited as central artists of the festival, while Latvia will be represented by 11 DJs who are the driving force of the domestic EDM scene, including Kapusta, Judzhen, Levan, Makree, Mike Discoid, nf3, Nicolas Barnes, Rexton, Roland Privert and others.
