Dalibor Svrčina won the Czech semifinal at the ATP Sparta Prague Open tennis challenger. The 18-year-old talent beat Jonáš Forejtek, the winner of the previous year’s junior at the US Open, two years older at 7: 5 and 6: 4. Svrčina was transformed by the seventh sword ball. He will play for the trophy at the challenger for the first time.

In Sunday’s single final, the 424th player in the Svrčina rankings will challenge either Argentine Facund Menu or Kazakh Dmitri Popko. Today, Forejtka is still waiting for the doubles final alongside Michael Vrbenský on clay in Stromovka, Prague.
