October 19, 2013 is the happiest day of my life. Then, shortly before sunrise, Vera gave birth to our daughter Joanna. I remember standing in a medical apron, in front of the glass, looking at her in the small bed, and the world was waking up for the new day. Our daughter had a lot of hair. And big black eyes. Exactly at 8:30 I had to go to the TV to participate in “This Saturday”, where we will announce what will be in the first edition of the new bTV show – “120 minutes”.
This was also the first broadcast of Anton Hekimyan as a host of the morning block, now director of “News, current affairs and sports” on television. Debut Day. And the new life. I was so excited that I forgot to take off my medical apron and the stockings that brought me straight to the studio, and Anton started laughing at me.
Then the congratulations began to rain – dozens of friends and acquaintances called me on the phone, for a moment I could not concentrate on the upcoming show. It was so emotional. I clearly remember that 30 minutes before the broadcast my adrenaline plummeted. I sat in the chair and my eyes closed. Then the producer Ralina Tropankeva, with whom we started “120 minutes”, felt where things were going and started testing me on the multiplication table. In the minutes before my first show, I was counting 7 by 8, dividing 36 by 6. Good thing there were no fractions. It was magical and went like a dream.
