Svetlana Tikhanovskaya (38) is the face of the revolution in Belarus. She lives in exile in neighboring Lithuania, united with her two children, but without her husband, who has been withering in prison for months by dictator Lukashenko. The self-appointed president, until recently an English teacher and a housewife, hopes for further pressure from Europe and the Netherlands: “All political prisoners must be released immediately.”
