Updated July 15 – 5:50 p.m: SV Waldhof Mannheim celebrates the next friendly win. On Saturday, the blue-blacks win 3-1 (1-1) at regional league club Würzburger Kickers. Jalen Hawkins (34th) puts SVW in the lead, Benjika Caciel (42nd) equalizes for the home side in the Akon Arena. After the change of sides, Samuel Abifade (65th) scored another newcomer to make it 2-1 for Waldhof. Substitute Kennedy Okpala made the final score in added time.

SVW trainer Rüdiger Rehm is counting on captain Marcel Seegert in his starting XI, who missed Friday’s thrashing in Käfertal. Test player Madéno Albenas can also prove himself again. The Frenchman comes on for Seegert during the break.
