In a high-scoring game Central regional league sat down SV Thal with an impressive 7:2 win against Graz United through. From the start, the home team dominated the action on the pitch and hardly gave the guests a chance. Moritz Langmann in particular stood out with an outstanding performance, which gave him five goals and made a decisive contribution to SV Thal’s success. The hosts’ offensive was unstoppable, while Graz United struggled to find its way into the game.
Lightning start from SV Thal – after 15 minutes it is 3-0
Already in the first minutes of the game, SV Thal Graz United put a lot of pressure on. After a few early chances in the ninth minute, the hosts finally rewarded themselves: Maksym Piskun opened the scoring with a goal to make it 1-0 in the 10th minute. Just a minute later, Moritz Langmann extended the lead to 2-0 by using his speed and precision. SV Thal didn’t let up and in the 15th minute Piskun increased the lead to 3-0 with his second goal.
Wow, that was a huge pike from the Thaler goalie. That should have been 3:2.

Graz United tried to catch up and was able to reduce the lead to 3-1 in the 16th minute through Idris Turan. But SV Thal was not impressed by this. The hosts continued to dominate the game and Moritz Langmann showed his class with another goal in the 33rd minute, which increased the score to 4-1. Shortly before halftime, Langmann secured his hat trick and took his team into the break with a 5-1 lead.
SV Thal remained dominant in the second half
After the half-time break, SV Thal showed no signs of slowing down. In the 47th minute, Moritz Langmann scored again and increased the score to 6:1, which almost decided the game at that point. Graz United managed to reduce the lead to 6-2 in the 67th minute through Moritz Langmann. But this goal was ultimately just a cosmetic result, as SV Thal continued to have the upper hand.
In the 65th minute, Idris Turan crowned the hosts’ outstanding performance with another goal to make the final score 7-2, following a remarkable assist from Daniel Ott. The game was finally decided. Graz United’s defense was no longer able to counter SV Thal’s tireless offensive efforts.
Overall, SV Thal showed an impressive performance and won their first win in the Central Regional League. Graz United, on the other hand, had great difficulty putting their stamp on the game and ultimately had to admit defeat. SV Thal’s clear victory underlines the hosts’ efforts and gives the fans hope for further success.
