In the second round of the Admiral 2. Bundesliga, SV Guntamatic Ried will host SV Horn on Friday in the first home game of the season. The match in the Innviertel Arena will be kicked off by referee Stjepan Bosnjak at 6 p.m. (live ORF Sport plus). Tickets for the game are available at the SV Ried office, online at www.svried.at and from 4 p.m. on the day of the game at the stadium box office.
Last season, SV Ried picked up 35 points in home games, making them the best home team in the league. It should stay that way. SVR captain Andreas Leitner is already looking forward to the home opener against Horn.
“We are really looking forward to this first home game. We are going into this match with a good feeling from the first game. Horn will primarily try to stand well at the back. We have to play them well and be prepared when they make pinpricks up front. We will not underestimate Horn and will go into this game highly motivated.”
SVR head coach Maximilian Senft is also expecting a great start in the Innviertel Arena, although he also points out the strengths of the opponent: “Horn is a good team, so we want to nip their joy in the bud from the very first second. Our lively stadium will be a great support in this.”
While SV Ried was able to make a positive start with a 1-0 win in Stripfing thanks to a penalty that was not given, SV Horn lost 2-3 at home to Rapid II.
Personnel situation
At Ried, all players are back in training. Wilfried Eza, Alexander Mankowski, Lumor and Philipp Pomer are still questionable.
Ried and Horn last met on April 19, 2024 in Horn last season. Ried won 2-0 thanks to goals from Philipp Pomer (22′) and Fabian Rossdorfer (86′).
SV Ried and Horn have played against each other six times in the 2nd Bundesliga so far. Ried won all six games with an overall goal difference of 21 to three for the Innviertler.
