SV Münsing lost to SV Miesbach 2:3 after being 0:3 behind at the break

Münsing – After six wins in a row, SV Münsing’s winning streak is broken: 2:3 against SV Miesbach after an exciting game in which the hosts were already 0:3 behind at the break. “The first 20 minutes were pitch black,” said Ralf Zahn. “And they ultimately cost us the game. Because we played well for the remaining 70 minutes and were clearly superior at the end.”

20 pitch-black minutes

The misery began in the eighth minute when Miesbach’s Jonas Matschiner was so lucky to return a deflected ball that the ball went into the net of the bewildered goalkeeper Tobi Werner to make it 0-1. “We were far too open for the second and third goals, it was poorly defended,” commented the SVM coach on Josef Sontheim’s subsequent brace. Because guest goalkeeper Tobias Magritsch reacted brilliantly twice to shots from Michael Geiger and the referee whistled back a goal from Sebastian Schönacher, the score was 0-3 at the break.

Game open again

“That was of course a huge mortgage,” says Zahn. “But we said in the dressing room: We won’t give up, we’ll try everything.” Just three minutes after the restart, the game was open again: after two corners and two headers from Max Spilker, the score was only 2:3. Suddenly there was hope again, and there were further great chances for the hosts through Lukas Hauptmann and Stefan Mannweiler. On the other side, Werner prevented the team from falling behind twice. “A draw might have been deserved. In the end, Miesbach was really happy that they managed to get the lead over time,” summarized Zahn. “The morale was good, I can’t deny anything from the team. But we can’t allow ourselves 20 minutes like that again.” rst
