Waltershofen almost through
After the 2-1 away win at 1. FC Mezepotamien Freiburg, SV BW Waltershofen is as good as certain of the championship in district league A, season II. 18 points and a goal difference of 55 goals separate Markus Bilharz’s team from FC Neuenburg with six games to go. In Freiburg, the Blau-Weien, who won 25 of 27 games this season, struggled just before the change of sides. However, goals from David Sthlin (77′) and Valerio Lai (83′) turned the game around again. The last doubts about winning the title should now be removed on Sunday, 1.30 p.m., in the home game against SpVgg Bollschweil/Slden. There Waltershofen wants to celebrate the district league promotion, which was narrowly missed last year.
