Lübeck – Der SV Azadi started the season well as a promoted team Association League South-East. However, as the season progressed, it continued to go down. In the end, the team coached by Nauzad Hassan finished 9th in the table, but with a clear gap (12 points) on the relegation zone. Reason enough for the climber to be satisfied.
Conclusion of the season
HL-SPORTS asked the coach Nauzad Hassan after his conclusion of the season. He said: “For our first year in the SV Azadi league, we can be satisfied that we managed to stay up. Another goal was a high participation of our players in training, which we finally achieved from the second half of the season. I believe that a high level of participation in training from the start would have ensured a higher placement.”

The positive memories
“When things got serious in the second half of the year and staying up in the league was at risk, we drew closer together and everyone really did their part to ensure that we were able to maintain our place in the league,” Hassan told HL-SPORTS.
Possible improvements
On further improvements, he said: “We have to learn to work defensively as a team and not just to defend positionally.”
Outlook for the new season and personnel changes
The start of the pre-season is June 22nd.
So far, only Sahid Wahab is known to have left.
Serdar Hassan, Human Said, Maximilian Hamann, Benjamin Galley, Mustafa Conteh, Aschty Sindi and Daniel Wobig are reported as newcomers.
