One of the turning points in the car sector, undoubtedly among the most loved in recent years, is the one that refers to the development and commercial boom of SUVs: car models that were immediately loved by the market.

Today, in a continuous renewal of the segment and in the name of continuous exploration, we observe how the transformation continue to be ongoing d’opera and expose yourself to one edit partly structural. Which?

First of all, on the dimensions: apparently there are quite a few big brands who are thinking first and then proposing small SUVs and in general off road dal volume minor. And this is not enough.

In fact, some have started to spread the concept, if not of structural sharing (as often happens among other things), then of a sort of joint venture: as can be seen in this specific case. Which?

That of a Japanese SUV which, surprise of surprises, has a soul underneath decidedly Italian. That’s right: we’re talking about a small off-road vehicle Japanese which, below the hood, features an Italian engine.

Japanese SUV, Italian engine: which is it?

A structurea made in italy in the actual engine of a Japanese car? We’re not joking, it’s not fake news but it’s there suggestive truth that comes out recently. With an engine with a unique and historical stamp. Maybe few people imagined it, and maybe few people know about it, but it’s pure reality.

Behind or, better said, inside a Japanese SUV there is an engine Fiat. The Italian cars, and our engines, moreover, are a true excellence all over the world and it is no coincidence that, between Fiat or Ferrari or Maserati, the Italian cars are popular, sought after and craved all over the world.

It is certainly not the first time that an Italian engine company offers its mechanical and automotive contribution to other brands. In this case Fiat granted its engine to bSuzuki Vitara. The engine of the Turin company was therefore used in the Sol Levante jeep.

In particular as regards the 4th generation of the Suzuki Vitara, launched in 2015, which to date is no longer produced after the renewal in 2018. Well, this car was powered by the engine Common Rail, present in some Fiat models such as the Bravo. Yet another proof of our country’s excellence in sector.
