Suzuki Swift: here is the fourth generation

THOUSAND TWO HYBRID – At the end of October, Suzuki showed the concept car at the Tokyo Motor Show which heralded the arrival of the new one Suzuki Swift (Who the news). The new Swift will arrive in Europe in spring 2024 with a new petrol engine a 3 cylinders of 1.2 litres light hybrid: at the moment Suzuki has not yet released the technical specifications, limiting itself to stating that it will combine greater fuel economy with higher torque at low speeds.

RECOGNIZABLE DESIGN – Although the style of the Suzuki Swift of the 2024 recalls that of previous generations, it has been completely redesigned. The front it features a piano black grille and L-shaped headlights that flow into rounded shoulders. In the vision lateral you notice a muscular profile and the floating design of the roof. In the rear the three-dimensional light clusters and the large bumper are designed to give the car a confident and playful appearance at the same time. There are eight single-colour colors available for the bodywork plus four further two-tone options, including the new Frontier Blue Pearl Metallic and Cool Yellow Metallic.

ALSO INTEGRAL – The passenger compartment of the new one Suzuki Swiftt was designed to be ergonomic and improve the driving experience. The central instrument panel and controls slightly oriented towards the driver aim to increase ease of use. The 9 inch touch screen it connects to the smartphone via both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with or without a cable. Safety is guaranteed by a series of driving assistance systems such as the recognition of other road users (including cyclists and pedestrians), Lane Keep Assist, the driver monitoring system and blind spot control. The Swift will also be available with the automatic system four-wheel drive Allgrip Auto, which engages when a loss of traction in the front wheels is detected. In this case a viscous coupling is activated to transfer torque to the rear axle.
