There is good news for fans and potential customers alike Suzuki Jimny in Indonesia. Because, now the vehicle pivot period is no longer annual, but only a few months. In fact, there are a number of authorized Suzuki dealers who serve Jimny purchases without having to pivot.
Harold Donnel as Head of Brand Development & Marketing Research 4W PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) said that currently only certain colors are still pivoting, for example kinetic yellow. Meanwhile, for other colors at certain dealers now ready stock.
“The indent varies from various dealers, but at some key dealers there are those that are ready. It’s just that there are indents for certain colors. So if insisted If you want a certain color, you have to wait,” said Harold when he was met in Jogja recently.

When asked which dealers sold Suzuki Jimny without a pivot, Harold could not elaborate further. However, he said, several dealers are located on the island of Java, including Greater Jakarta.
“Incidentally, I don’t update too much on regional details. But in the Jabodetabek area there are dealers who ready and there is also a must pivot. The point is in Java there is (which ready), Sumatra is there, Kalimantan is also there,” he said.
Furthermore, Harold stressed, Suzuki Jimny’s share for Indonesia was still the same as in previous years, namely 50 units per month. However, because many requests have been fulfilled, now the waiting period is not long.
For those who don’t know, the Suzuki Jimny itself is a whole or imported car completely built up (CBU) from India.
“Our allocation remains consistent at 50 units per month. So because many have been supplied, the longer the pivot will decrease,” he said.

It is known that the Suzuki Jimny first launched in Indonesia at the 2019 GIIAS exhibition. The vehicle immediately became a target for consumers from the first day of its launch.
