Suzuki Calls XL7 Boost Sales of Low SUV Segment

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Sales of cars in the segment Low SUV contributed 16.2 percent of all sales in January-June 2020. This figure has actually increased from the same period last year which only reached 12.4 percent.

Donny Saputra, 4W Marketing Director PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales, said, XL7 contribute to increasing demand in this segment.

According to him, the car that launched in early 2020 has a spacious cabin, so that it can maximize passenger comfort in the car.

“Currently, people need a car that can accompany activities to various fields. Suzuki XL7 have it for the people of Indonesia, “said Donny, in a written statement (10/8/2020).

“No wonder XL7 wholesale sales in June increased rapidly to 107.7 percent and contributed to Suzuki’s total sales in June by 13.4 percent,” he said.

Donny added that the XL7 Beta variant was the model most favored by consumers with a contribution of 49 percent, followed by the Alpha variant with 41 percent.

Speaking of color choices, the most customer demand fell to Snow White as much as 34 percent and Cool Black Metallic with 27 percent.

Meanwhile, for dual tone colors, the most popular is the hero color XL7, namely Rising Orange + Black with a contribution of 13 percent of all XL7 sales.

“This figure also contributed to more than 13 percent of Suzuki’s passenger car sales in bright colors (blue, orange, red), in the first half of 2020,” said Donny.
