Lecturer/researcher Suzanne Kali, working at the Department of Social Law, has succeeded Marica Wismeijer (Athora Netherlands) as chair of the FNV Women’s Network as of 1 September 2024. This Network, which is part of the FNV trade union, focuses on promoting gender equality in the workplace and in retirement.
The Network Women FNV offers women a platform to share their experiences and knowledge and to take joint action to improve their position. To achieve this, activities and knowledge events are organised in the field of gender aspects of work and pensions.
An example is the pension gap event on April 19th, which was organized in collaboration with Netspar, and where Suzanne Kali was also a speaker. At this event, ways to close the pension gap between men and women were discussed with visitors from, among others, the government, pension providers, unions and NGOs.
