Suzan Stortelder and Freek Rikkerink, better known as musical duo Suzan & Freek, got married on Saturday. The couple shares this on Instagram.
“December 2, 2023,” write 31-year-old Suzan and 30-year-old Freek with two photos of the wedding. “What a dream weekend, we got married! A weekend of nothing but love, delicious dining, crying about the speeches and dancing until we couldn’t anymore, and all that with the sweetest friends and family around us.”
“And we danced!” Kraantje Pappie writes under the message. The newlyweds also receive congratulations from well-known colleagues such as Ilse DeLange, Miss Montreal and Davina Michelle.
Freek proposed to Suzan in Berlin in July. The Achterhoekers have known each other since high school and have been together for fifteen years now.
The singing duo is known for its singles Blue day (2019) in When it is evening (2018). They are among the most listened to artists in the Netherlands and recently performed in a sold-out Ziggo Dome. The two think their success can partly be explained by how “normal” they are.
