Suzan & Freek and Marco Borsato won prizes on Monday at the annual presentation of the Buma NL Awards. The pop duo won Shared By Us the prize for the most successful pop album. Together with Borsato they won with How It Dances in the category popular also the prize for the most successful single. Armin van Buuren and Davina Michelle also took home prizes.
The eleventh edition of the Buma NL Awards will take place online this year due to the outbreak of COVID-19. The winners are announced throughout the day in various program components.
Singer Mart Hoogkamer has also been named talent of the year and By Toreador van Opblown and Wilbert Pigmans is the most successful single in the Dutch category.
The other prices will be announced later on Monday. The winners of the singles and albums in the hip-hop and alternative categories will follow.
The winners are determined by the amount of sales, downloads, streams and airplay.
