Coach Kim was well known to K-League fans during his time as a player by the nickname ‘Sharp’ due to his sharp scoring ability and penetration ability as an attacker. After retiring from his career as a player, Coach Kim walked the path of a leader. Then, starting last year, he took over as coach of the South Korea under-20 (U-20) soccer team.
