A parked sport utility vehicle was literally swallowed by a pothole on the night of Saturday to Sunday in Manhattan, New York.
The hole suddenly appeared on the 2e Street near Avenue A. As it was overnight, no one was in the car, reports the New York Daily News.

The authorities were forced to close access to water to allow emergency work to be carried out. The cause of this collapse is still unknown at this time.
A surfer who filmed the vehicle in its very precarious position shared his images on Twitter. “Who had” potholes in New York “on their 2020 bingo card?” Joked Jamie Webb.
