Normally, life insurance customers cannot see for themselves the investments in which their money is flowing. The investment trip that the company Pangea Life wants to offer is all the more unusual: In mid-March, the two managing directors Daniel Regensburger and Uwe Mahrt take customers to the places in which they are invested using virtual reality glasses – including wind parks in Denmark and Norway as well as photovoltaic systems and hydropower plants in Spain and Portugal. “We want to show customers what exactly happens to the money they pay into us,” says Regensburger.
