Ladies and Gentlemen
Dear sustainability enthusiasts,
The state-wide Sustainability Day in Rhineland-Palatinate will take place for the first time on November 16, 2024. Under the motto “Shaping the future together”, the Future Council for Sustainable Development in Rhineland-Palatinate, together with Prime Minister Alexander Schweitzer, invites all citizens to a varied program in the Alte Lokhalle Mainz from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The first RLP Sustainability Day uses positive examples and innovative solutions to encourage and inspire people to become active themselves and make a contribution to sustainable development in Rhineland-Palatinate. In exciting short presentations, experts provide ideas on key areas of action in sustainable development. In workshops and at a variety of action stands, visitors can exchange ideas, network and develop their own ideas for a sustainable Rhineland-Palatinate.
The Future Council for Sustainable Development presents its work and invites people to talk about how to answer the key questions about the future in their own country and life. Schoolchildren from Rhineland-Palatinate present their ideas and their commitment to a sustainable future. The program is accompanied by improvisational theater and music, which bring the topic of sustainability to life in a creative way. Food and drink are also provided – with sustainable catering, of course.
Admission is free. To facilitate planning, we ask you to register. Registration and all further information can be found here.
We look forward to welcoming you on November 16th at the first Sustainability Day of Rhineland-Palatinate in Mainz.
Best regards
Jannis Graber and Sarah Schmidt
