The resolution on the introduction of a state of emergency in the border section with Belarus and five kilometers in the depths of the state, ie a total of ten kilometers, was adopted unanimously for the former 102 members of the Seimas.

The state of emergency on the border with Belarus has already been declared since 10 November.

“For the time being, we are monitoring the situation in Poland, as well as the situation in Belarus, because the numbers of illegal migrants there are not clear and at any time those flows can move towards us – both to Latvia and to Poland,” he says.
