Suspicious! Journalist Making Documentary About G30S / PKI Found Dead in Turkey

Eramuslim.com – An American journalist, Andre Vitchek (57) was found dead in a rented car, on Tuesday (22/9) in Istanbul, Turkey.

At first, Andre and his wife, Rossie Indira, were traveling in Istanbul using a rental car and two drivers.

When he arrived at the hotel on Tuesday (23/09) at 05.30 local time, Andre was awakened by his wife but did not budge at all. Soon the wife called the emergency services for help. The medical team that arrived at the scene announced the death of the journalist who was born in the Soviet Union.

The police investigating said Andre’s death was suspicious. The police are still investigating Andre’s death.



Andre is a journalist who frequently appears in international media and has written dozens of stories of war and conflict, from Iraq, Peru, Sri Lanka, Bosnia, Rwanda, Syria, the Democratic Republic of Congo and many more.

As a journalist, Andre Vltchek has also covered Indonesia and Timor Leste. In 2004, he released a documentary entitled Terlena which discussed issues surrounding the G30S / PKI.

Former President Gus Dur, writer Pramoedya Ananta Toer, to Ilham Aidit, the son of DN Aidit, also appeared as resource persons in the documentary Terlena.

During his life, Andre also regularly criticized and exposed the crimes committed by the United States.[]
