Seeing crew members wearing oxygen masks and smelling suspicious smoke is not reassuring for passengers. This is the incident that occurred on the London-Nice line from 5pm (UK time) on Thursday. Selon The Irish Sun, the flight operated by the British company British Airways, was forced to reverse course to land in emergency at London’s Heathrow airport.

According to a witness who tweeted about his experience, “strange smells” suddenly invaded the cabin. Flight attendants, including pilots, were seen wearing oxygen masks. The crew reportedly smelled smoke.
Firefighters took control of the aircraft as it landed safely on the runway at Heathrow.
According to The Irish Sun, a company spokesman said the plane had to turn back after a technical problem. “The safety of our customers and crews is always a priority”assured British Airways.
