Essen / Krefeld. The first team of TV Essen-Dellwig traveled to the table leaders KSV Germania Krefeld in Krefeld with mixed feelings. Due to the style change in the second half of the season, the cards were reshuffled. After the well-deserved defeat in the battle and the following completely exaggerated comments in the social networks on the part of some Krefelders, the people of Essen took to the mat with a special motivation. Unfortunately, some of the Krefeld side overshot the mark. Spectators from Essen were not allowed into the hall, the atmosphere was unnecessarily heated, the Essen trainers were insulted by officials.
The fight kept what many had promised: change in leadership, tension, drama. It got down to business right from the start: The first fight up to 57 kg (GR) between Matin Sakhi and Abdul-Malik Magumadov ended at 10:10. Matin won the fight because he had more 4 points than his opponent on the account. Essen took the lead 1-0.
In the second fight up to 130 kg (FR), things got down to business right from the start. Mirac Gümüs had the upper hand against Suleiman Alikhanov with 10: 9. 2-0 for food.
The third fight in the class up to 61 kg (FR) continued spectacularly. Alim Adzhiev likes it offensively and won the fight 15: 6 against Mert Simsek. Essen led 5-0.

It was exciting in the fight up to 86 kg (FR). With the final gong, Halil Sarikaya turned the fight against Ben Haeffner into a lucky win for Essen, 12: 4 for Essen.
In the next fight up to 71 kg (FR) between Amir Adzhiev and Jakub Marchlewski, the people of Essen experienced how heavy a shoulder defeat weighs. Amir led 4-1 and let the experienced Marchlewski grab him from an inconspicuous situation in the freestyle pincers. Amir could not free himself from it, Krefeld came up again at 12: 9.
In the 9th fight up to 80 kg (GR) Dima Wegner had to deal with Tim Stoll. Dima was 0: 4 behind but was able to achieve a 2-point score at the end, so that the Krefeld team moved up to 12:10 with just one point
In the penultimate fight up to 75 kg A (GR), the former Witten teammates Alexander Storck and Nicolai van Berkum met. Alexander had two warnings and a 12: 1 deficit under his belt before he could shorten it to 12: 4, Krefeld took the lead with 13:12.
The last fight up to 75 kg B (FR) decided the match. Cavit Acar led 3-0 against Philipp Haeffner at the break and extended this lead to 15-0 after 4:26 minutes. 16:13 for food.
As a result, Essen not only won the team fight, but with the victory by three points, you are also ahead in a direct comparison and thus take the lead in the table.

Our second team clearly won with 53: 5 at the second representation of the Bundesliga club RC CWS Düren-Merken. All wrestlers used won at least one fight. With the win, our team took the lead in the Rhineland district league.
Next Saturday, the home fight in the sports hall at the Gertrud-Bäumer-Realschule, Grünstraße 54 in Essen-Altenessen is the order of the day. Our second team receives the table third RG Oberforstbach / Sparta Kelmis and our first team the TV Aachen-Walheim.
