The LFF Disciplinary Committee has received the application of FK “Liepāja” on October 19 with attachments and the application of October 23 on this year. The 22nd round of the “Optibet” Latvian Premier League match between FC “Liepāja” and “Optibet”, which took place on October 17 in Liepāja “Daugava” stadium RFS teams. The LFF Disciplinary Committee, after getting acquainted with the application of FK “Liepāja” on October 23, established that a security fee in the amount of EUR 150 has not been paid for the application.
In view of the above, in connection with the submission of FC “Liepāja” on October 23, the LFF Disciplinary Committee unanimously decides:
- FK “Liepāja “‘s application of 23 October to be left without progress and to set FK” Liepāja “deadline for elimination of deficiencies – payment of security fee EUR 150 – by October 29;
- Ask the RFS to provide an explanation for this situation by 29 October;
- To ask the responsible LFF institutions and officials to provide the information and documents that will be necessary for the decision of the Disciplinary Committee;
- The next meeting of the Disciplinary Committee shall be held after receipt of the relevant explanations and documents, but not later than on October 30.
It has already been reported that FK “Liepāja” sent a letter to the LFF Disciplinary Committee on Friday afternoon Chairwoman Jevgenija Tverjanovič-Borei, who states that by postponing the game, the regulations of the Latvian Premier League Championship have been violated, as well as the Disciplinary Regulations.
