After the allegations became known, the public prosecutor’s office opened criminal proceedings against the teacher on suspicion of crimes against sexual integrity. The man was arrested on June 25 and remanded in custody because there was a risk of collusion in his case.
The teacher is no longer in custody. Cyclist seriously injured in fall in Bauma

According to the police, the accident occurred at 3:30 a.m. The man was walking on the track towards Zurich when a night train was traveling on the same track from Urdorf to Zurich. The train driver immediately initiated emergency braking, but was unable to prevent the collision with the pedestrian. According to the statement, the man died at the scene of the accident.

Rafz: Fifty stolen cell phones seized

Caught in a police check with kilos of cocaine in the car

The driver, an Albanian resident in Germany, was arrested and handed over to the public prosecutor’s office.
Man shot on August 1 released from hospital

Wheelchair user hit by car on pedestrian crossing

As the police wrote in a second statement on Tuesday afternoon, the driver turned himself in to the police on Tuesday morning. The driver involved in the accident is a 36-year-old man.

Police arrest three necklace thieves from Morocco in Zurich

On Sunday morning (4 August), the police arrested three young men from Morocco who are said to have robbed a passerby in Zurich city centre. According to a statement from the Zurich city police, the 51-year-old victim was walking along the Utoquai with his wife shortly before 10 a.m. The perpetrators approached the couple, then one of the trio suddenly hit the man and snatched his necklace.
The trio then fled in the direction of the Quai Bridge. The victim reported the theft to the police. The couple’s information eventually led the police to one of the three suspected perpetrators. He was arrested on Bahnhofstrasse.
Another patrol tracked down the other two suspects on Oetenbachgasse with the help of a police dog. The three arrested are Moroccans aged 17 and 18. After being questioned by the police, they were handed over to the public prosecutor’s office and the youth prosecutor’s office.
48-year-old is injured by a graze bullet in a bar
