Friday, around 6:30 p.m., while patrolling rue de l’Isère, in the station district, in Grenoble, police officers from the anti-crime brigade saw a man running after a second perched on an electric scooter, urging the passers-by to stop him. The police officers therefore apprehended the driver of the scooter.
The second man would then have explained to them that he was the owner of the machine. He said he was approached by three young men – including the one who was arrested by the police – who, under knifepoint, stole his scooter.
While the other two men have not been found, the one who was apprehended by BAC officers, aged 16, was taken into custody for robbery at gunpoint in a meeting. The scooter was returned to its owner.
