Perhaps one of the biggest gambling losses in history. Rockstar Games’ unreleased “Grand Theft Auto 6” is under attack from an unknown person claiming to be a hacker, leaking a large number of confidential development documents and videos, and even claiming to have the development source code in hand !
This has happened. A user of the “Grand Theft Auto” forum GTAForums “TeapotUberHacker” claimed to be the mastermind behind Uber hacking and posted 90 test videos claiming to be from “Grand Theft Auto 6”, covering source code, resources, etc. for Grand Theft Auto 5 and 6.
At the moment, these videos and clips continue to circulate on YouTube, Twitter, Reddit and other social networking sites, because they are similar to the previous information that was also rumored to have leaked from “Grand Theft Auto 6”, such as multiple playable characters, one character feminine, set in Miami-style Sin City and more.
The post is still being published on GTAForums and continues to receive attention (web link)。
The hacker called Rockstar Games and Take-Two at the same time the message was released, asking any employee who saw it and wanted to contact him to negotiate a deal with him. So far, part of the “alleged” source code of “Grand Theft Auto 5” has been purchased for $ 100,000 in Bitcoin (equivalent to approximately NT $ 3.13 million).
According to the hacker, these “Grand Theft Auto 5” source codes sold will be sent with the “Grand Theft Auto 6” files, but the “Grand Theft Auto 6” source code has not been sold, the quotation must be Greater than 5- figure dollars.
It is worth noting that TeapotUberHacker appears to have intentionally seen Rockstars Games or Take-Two make an offer to redeem “Grand Theft Auto 6” source code and package slightly less profitable “Grand Theft Auto 5” or some 6th generation files, but according to some rumors After the transaction was successful, the hacker denied the fact that the bitcoins had arrived on the account, in other words … it was suspected that a black-eating incident had occurred. It can only be said that the actual status of the transaction is confusing.
At the same time, Rockstar Games contacts have indicated they are aware of the matter, according to Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier.
Not that there was much doubt, but I confirmed with Rockstar sources that this weekend’s massive Grand Theft Auto VI leak is indeed real. The footage is early and unfinished, of course. This is one of the biggest losses in video game history and a nightmare for Rockstar Games

Incidentally, the hacker claimed to be involved in the recent Uber hack.
Continue to pay attention to the development of the follow-up.
