US stars like the Kardashian-Jenner family put their careers in the hands of Angela Kukawski. Shortly before Christmas, the manager is reported missing – a little later the police find her body. The victim’s friend is under suspicion.
Angela Kukawski, who has represented many famous stars in Los Angeles as a manager, was found dead on December 23rd. The Los Angeles police announced this in a statement. According to the police, her boyfriend Jason Barker was arrested on suspicion of murder.
Kukawski worked for the Boulevard Management management office in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles. There she looked after clients like Nicki Minaj, the rappers Kanye West and Offset, and the Kardashian-Jenner family.
“Angela was really the best. She took care of each of us and made things possible that were impossible,” said the Kardashian-Jenner clan in a statement to People magazine. “We will miss her very much and we extend our condolences to her family and loved ones at this difficult time.”
“Most reliable and sweetest person”
In her Instagram story, Nicki Minaj also says goodbye to her manager. She writes: “The hardest working, most dependable, sweetest person you could ever meet. You didn’t deserve this, Angela. My heart breaks for your children. Rest in peace.”
According to the police report, the 55-year-old was reported missing on December 22nd. On December 23, police found the missing woman dead in her car. Detectives assume her boyfriend killed her in her Sherman Oaks home and then drove her to Simi Valley in her car. According to “Variety”, the celebrity manager leaves five children.
