Christian Brueckner, the suspect in Madeleine McCann’s disappearance, was reportedly seen with “a blond man” in 2017, the night he was arrested by Portuguese authorities after showing himself to four children in a park. According to the British newspaper The Mirror, the 43-year-old German was seen that night in the company of another man of similar stature to his own. The two would be at a festival in São Bartolomeu de Messines, in the municipality of Silves, and then went on to a playground. The same newspaper also writes that the descriptions given by Christian Brueckner and the person who was with him are identical to the descriptions heard in connection with Maddie’s disappearance, ten years earlier, in 2007.
