The 28-year-old man arrested yesterday after a fatal accident in Rotterdam is suspected of drunk driving, police said. Three people died in the accident.
It accident it happened on the Groene Kruisweg near the A15 at the Charlois exit. Just before 6 in the morning, the Rotterdam police received a report. Two cars are thought to have collided head-on.
Investigations have yet to reveal exactly what the suspect used, he writes Rijnmond.
The crash killed a 35-year-old woman, a 36-year-old man and a 7-year-old boy. They were in the car together. The other car was driven by the suspect, a man from The Hague. He’s still in the hospital.
