– The cause of death is unclear. It may well be that the death has natural causes, but the police can not rule out that there is something criminal behind the incident, says police attorney Christian Hanssen to newspaper.
NRK has been in contact with the police operations center in Tromsø, but they do not want to disclose anything more about what may have happened.
The police state that a person has been arrested in the case due to the risk of evidence being lost. The person in question is charged with grievous bodily harm.
They further refer to a press release that will be sent out on Monday.
Since Saturday, the police have been working on technical investigations at the home in Birtavarre in Kåfjord. The home is blocked off. Several people have also been questioned in the case, writes Nordlys.
On Monday, a decision will be made on whether the person who has been arrested should be produced for imprisonment.
The person who was found dead was autopsied on Sunday. The relatives have been notified, writes Nordlys.
