The Hospital for Infectious Diseases in Craiova has the first patient hospitalized with suspected monkeypox. According to some GdS sources, it would be a man aged around 30 years, with a history of venereal diseases and who would have traveled to Germany. The man would also have HIV.
The manager of the hospital confirmed the suspicious case for Gazeta de Sud: “It is a suspicion for now. Tomorrow we will continue the investigations and establish the diagnosis”, said Adina Turcu.
