NEW YORK – The New York City Police released the sketch of the suspect of a case of sexual abuse and of trying to rape another woman in less than 5 hours in the well-known park of Prospect Park in Brooklyn.
According to the police report, the first incident was reported on Saturday, July 10, at about 1:00 pm, inside the park, in the area of Prospect Park West Y 5 Street. The victim, a 34-year-old woman, was walking when the suspect approached from behind and pushed her against some rocks while covering her mouth with his hand.
At that time, the report says, the suspect held the woman’s arms and pressed her against the body and pulled out a condom while threatening to hurt her. When he put the condom on top of the rocks, he released the victim which allowed her to escape from the alleged sexual abuser. The victim was not injured.
However, a few hours later, at around 5:30 pm, in the same place, a 57-year-old woman saw the suspect masturbating as she walked by him. The suspect then began to follow her and when the woman stopped to see if she was nearby, he allegedly ejaculated on the victim’s torso and arm. The victim fled the scene and the individual stayed. The woman was not harmed.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his mid-25s to 30s.
