Authorities are looking for a suspect in a series of MetroCards robberies in which he threatens his victims with killing them, New York City Police said.
According to the police report, the alleged thief has robbed women in subway stations in Manhattan on three occasions.
The first case was reported on November 3, at around 10:15 a.m., when the alleged thief approached the victim, a 32-year-old woman, on a platform in the metro station of Whitehall Street, when she waiting for a train on the line N O R. At that point the suspect grabbed the victim and threatened to kill her if she did not hand over the MetroCard.
The following day, the suspect would have committed two robberies with the same method. The first occurred around 6:32 am against a 78-year-old woman inside the same train station. The second case happened about 10 minutes later, against a 39-year-old woman, inside the train station. Rector Street.
