Police are looking for a man possibly in his 20s for being suspected of randomly stabbing a 70-year-old woman in the back on a Brooklyn sidewalk, authorities said.
The uniformed woman said that the woman was walking on Wednesday of last week near Eighth Avenue and 53rd Street, shortly after 1:00 pm, when someone allegedly came from behind and stabbed her with something. No words were exchanged and the woman was not even able to see her alleged attacker, according to police.
The woman was taken to a hospital and is expected to recover.
