NEW YORK – New York City authorities are on the trail of a suspect in the shooting of a man in the Bronx.
The incident occurred on October 15, at around 2:00 a.m., in the vicinity of Magenta Street and White Plains Road, when the 25-year-old victim was reached by an unknown man and the two apparently began to discuss, according to police reports.
The dispute, according to the report, escalated to something physical and would have been at that moment when the suspect pulled out a weapon and shot the victim in the torso before fleeing the scene. The injured man was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
The suspect is described as a dark-skinned man with a beard. He was last seen in a Yankees cap, black hooded jacket, and jean pants.
