NEW YORK – Authorities are searching for a man suspected of shooting and robbing a man early Sunday morning in Manhattan, police said.
According to authorities, the incident occurred around 2:15 am on Sunday at the E 30th Y 3rd Avenue when the alleged thief approached the man and demanded money. However, in the end he allegedly stole the victim’s watch and chain and then shot him in the thigh.
The victim was transported to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition and was discharged. The age or identity of the victim was not released.
The suspect was last seen wearing a red hoodie and black pants.
The case is under investigation.
