Authorities are looking for a man for allegedly trying to lure a 9-year-old girl when the girl was walking on a public road in Brooklyn.
According to the police report, the incident occurred on Thursday, around 7:40 am, in the vicinity of East 28 street Y Avenue Z, en Sheepshead Bay.
The victim, a 9-year-old girl, was walking and the suspect followed her while tapping her shoulder in an attempt to lure her away.
The suspect arrived at the scene in a light-colored work van and fled westbound on the Avenue Z and turned north on East 27 Street.
The individual is described as a light-skinned man and was last seen wearing a black jacket, black balaclava and jeans blue
