NEW YORK – The L line of the New York City train, which connects Manhattan to Brooklyn, was suspended for a moment after a man received a cut to the neck Tuesday afternoon, authorities announced.
L trains have resumed making regular stops between 8 Av and Bedford Av after NYPD concluded an investigation at 1 Av.

According to information from the New York City Police, the incident occurred at about 4:00 pm after an alleged dispute on the L line platform at Union Square station in Manhattan when a man, about 45 years, he received a cut in the neck. The victim’s condition is unknown, but according to authorities he is expected to survive. The victim was transported to Bellevue Hospital.
It is unknown what would have generated the dispute and if the victim and the suspect knew each other.
The suspect is described as a dark-skinned man, in his early 25s, who was last seen dressed in black, wearing a white mask and a green shirt. Apparently he fled on the L train to Brooklyn.
The train line is already running, but users may witness train delays.
This is a case under investigation.
