Authorities are looking for the suspect who cut the hand of a 26-year-old woman with a knife inside the elevator of a subway station in the Bronx, the New York City Police announced.
According to the uniformed officer, the incident occurred on Saturday, May 7, at around 12:00 am, when a suspect approached the 26-year-old woman when she was inside an elevator at the 174th Street subway station.
After that, according to the police report, the alleged attacker took out a knife and cut the victim’s right hand before fleeing on a line two train. Paramedics took the victim to a hospital due to the cut.
The suspect is described as a man in his 20s to 30s who was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black pants and holding a skateboard.
